Windproof pertex 6 outer shell, side zips which cut out draught through the front, pile inner which wicks moisture away from skin or base layer to the outside. It's not waterproof but water evaporates from pertex faster than it can soak up so you do not generally get wet and even if you do it still provides warmth and comfort. Used by police surveillance, mountain rescue, armed forces and committed outdoor people. Worn snug fitting to keep out draught.
