As we deal in UPS we have extensive experience of these cell types.
You can hot swap these cell packs (IE change the battery while the UPS is turned on). It is a simple job to install the battery in your UPS. Simply open it up, disconnect and remove your old cell pack, insert the new, connect it and then put the front back on. It fits many UPS types, but access is generally through the front - taking the plastic cover off and using a cross head screwdriver to remove two screws on the battery access door.
We are a long established company that deals solely in UPS and associated hardware. Each cell is tested in a UPS before shipping. We have the know how and willingness to help out with after sales support if you run into a problem. Examples of this is when a customer mistakenly orders the wrong part - we can book on swap out services with our courier (at customer cost) to swap to the right type of cell. Another example is if a customer orders a cell pack for a UPS and it turns out the UPS is broken - in these cases we have offered a UPS core at discounted price so they are not left with a cellpack they cannot use.
We have been building and selling these cells since 2002. The nominal cell life is between 3 and 6 years - we know this from the returning customer periods. We include a date sticker so you can remember when the cellpack was bought, and to help you find the right part when the time comes again.
We either re-use APC top caps or use a fire-Retardant, 1000V rated flexible insulator as per the photographs. We band-strap the cells together in addition to using a top quality 3M branded double sided foam tape for assembly.
We ship in custom cartons that have been specifically designed for these RBC7. Feedback regarding our packaging is excellent, and we have very few problems with goods being damaged in transit, even to remote countries. If there is a problem we fix it straight away for you, at our cost.
We set our same day dispatch times on eBay as a guide. This is a broad stroke estimation, large units or volume quantities may roll over to being dispatched the following working day. You can contact us if you need to be sure of when we can send an order and we can make a plan that suits you.
All of our consignments are sent fully insured on a 24 hour service with our carriers. We cover all problems that occur in transit. We can ship to the EU (transit time varies) and have experience packing and shipping to overseas destinations. The EU shipping costs are estimated and can be subject to surcharge. Large UPS may be palletised or shipped with the UPS in one box, and the cells in another. We have the packing materials to make sure that there are few problems in transit. Our warehouse is based in the UK.
When we process the order, we issue a dispatch notification via email. This will have a PDF invoice attached, and detail which courier we have shipped with, along with the tracking number and any pertinent information & guidance.
