All About Ships

By  Lieut. Taprell Dorling.

Published by Cassell and Company, London, New York, Toronto and Melbourne, undated but COPAC have it being published in 1912, the same year the Titanic sank (this book has wonderful colour frontispiece of the Titanic). First Edition. Thick 8vo. Hardback book with decorative upper board and spine. pp xii, 371. There are 4 colour plates including the frontispiece of The White Star Liner Titanic which sank on her maiden voyage in 1912. Also many other intereting illustrations in black and white, sketches and photographs.

A lovely clean copy in very good condition. The boards and spine are in very good clean condition with the decoration and gilt title remaining bright and clear. Binding is square and has no squinting. A few brown spots to title page and following few pages and also to the margins of some of the pages throughout the book. All plates present and in good condition - frontispiece of the Titanic is good with just a little rubbing to the outer edge and it's tissue guard is creased. Overall this is a very good copy.
