Answer: Yes. You can use powerbait on the baitfeeder.

Question: Is the drag the same on each size ?

Answer: Models 4000-6000 have the same Max Drag 26.5LB.

 

Question: Can I use 30 lb braided line on the 6000 reel ?

Answer: Yes the Sharky III Baitfeeder is great for braided line. 30lb is fine.

 

Question: Can I use 80 lb braided line on the 6000 reel ?

Answer: 80lb braid is pretty serious. The Sharky III baitfeeder may not be the right reel for the type of fishing you are doing. We have Round Baitcasters in our Rover series that go up to 90's. They would be more suitable.

 

Question: Does this reel come with a extra spool ?

Answer: Yes, the Sharky Baitfeeder III comes with a spare graphite spool.

 

Question: What size would you suggest for 8ft mh rod for rock fish ?

Answer: The 3000-4000 series is universal for most fishing applications.

 

Question: Does anyone if the 3000 size good for striper fishing? Since spool is a bit small ?

Answer: The KastKing Sharky II Baitfeeder 5000 or 6000 would be a better reel for striped bass.
