FAQ

1.What is this,anything used

Sweep is frequencycharacteristictester,is a test set,test compent frequency and amplifiler curve,suh as test a LC tank frequency and amplifiler curve.


2.What is the difference of NWT sweep and BT3(CHINA TYPE)used CRT sweep.

NWT serial sweep is digital sweep,small step,connect PC calculation data,can VFO output.smaller lighter than the old sweep.NWT4000-1,NWT4000-2 can used simple spectrum analyzer


3.Sweep connected PC no responsion

Check USB driver ,check extern DC power,check software setting .


4.Sweep can test duplexer,how to test

Can test,duplexer is a filter.Frequency sweep meter is connected to the output of the duplexer antenna terminal and receiving terminal,frequency sweep meter input end connected machines, can be measured


5.How to test antenna

Used SWR bridge or three port connect.


Swr bridge test:

Used the swr bridge can be measured in Bobbi, can qualitative measurement, need to pay attention, frequency sweep meter can only used of bridge with the RF output, not with the bridge band detection output

Used three port connect replace swr bridge ,can test antenna ,only for compare test.


6. Attention of Sweep analyzer in used Connet with computer,DUT, so need to pay attention to ground is good, not too high level input end of the detecting, otherwise it will damage the detecting element.


7.USB port power supply is not enough,how to do?

According to USB2.0 protocol the current is 0.5A,is enough.if power supply is not enough,check USB cable connect is good,change a high quality USB cable,change to USB 3.0 port(current is 0.9A),used a extern power supply USB HUB.


8.The impedance is not match,any problem,how to solution?

The impedance mismatch, power is not 100% transmission, reflection. will cause the measured parameters (gain, fluctuation, insertion loss, bandwidth) and other parameters are incorrect, can consider the external transformer or resistance as impedance matching, then measure


9.I need to improve the input and output impedance precision , how to do?

insert the attenuator in the instrument input and output, attenuator normaly is 3DB, if you want to be more precise, can be replaced by 10DB or higher number attenuator, the disadvantage is loss of dynamic.
