Cryptocoryne Lucens - emersed
Cryptocoryne Lucens is an easy plant. Is recommended for beginners due to its ease in keeping and low care requirements. If grown in good aquarium substrate , the plant can feed through the roots and grow quickly without the need for high light, CO2 or fertilizer dosing. Propagate by splitting the rhizome or cutting off new growth and replanting. The plants produce narrow, pure green leaves. Growing to a height of 10–20 cm. Too much light can cause Cryptocoryne Lucens to become bleached and lose its vibrant green colour.

What cause and understanding of „Cryptocoryne melt”:
All Cryptocoryne can be sensitive to changes in water parameters. It is normal for the plant to undergo “crypt melt” when introduced to a new tank, or if water conditions change too much (like lighting intensity, pH, gh, kh, Irregular water change, poor water quality, changing location of the plant, temperature, fertilizer dosing). Established plants can suffer from melting as well. In that case we advise to prune the leaves as they melt. This will help plant focus more on producing new leaves rather than struggling to keep the old ones. Do not worry if it will happen. Your plant will begin to grow back within a month or sooner depending on the conditions.
Worms, snails & pets free.
