This full Sterling Silver Eversharp VENTURA "BURP" Fountain Pen and Pencil Set dates to 1955 and is mint in the suede and satin lined hard shell case. This was the last model produced by Eversharp before being bought by Parker.
Both the fountain pen and pencil are 5" in length with a subtle lined pattern § signed STERLING and with no dings, dents or personalizations.
The pen is model #723 and the pencil is model #1723. The
1955 price for the pen was $15.00 and $10.00 for the pencil. The gold foil price tags remain and the pen has a black price band as well. The pen has a solid 14kt gold Medium nib with very slight flex § it appears uninked. The pencil is cap activated - there is a small separation where the cap and barrel of the pencil fit together § this slight gap will require an adjustment. This is a beautiful and very collectable set § the BURP pen is not common and this set in Sterling Silver is about as good as it gets with original tags and handsome case.
