slight dentWelcome to Antiques & Moore!

This listing is for a nice Mid-Century Maciel Mexico Sterling Silver hand made and very heavy lidded sugar and creamer set.

Sugar measures 5 3/8" high, 4 7/8" wide (handle to handle) with a 2 3/8" diameter base. Weighs 355 grams.

Creamer measures 5 3/8" high, 4 7/8" wide (lip to handle) with a 2 3/8" diameter base. Weighs 315 grams.

Combined weight is 670 grams.

Both the creamer and sugar bowl have a nice vertically ribbed body with wide shoulder area that narrows as it reaches the base. The bodies are both in excellent condition with no dents, dings or repairs. The base of both pieces, however, have some very minor dings and are slightly out-of-round. This should be an easy repair. No other flaws or problems on either piece.

Both pieces are marked "Maciel, Sterling, Made in Mexico, 0.925". The creamer also has engraved number "2462, 13" and the sugar has engraved number "2785, 13". I don't know the significance of the different number sequence, but these two pieces are definitely a matched pair.

We have a large selection of antique Sterling Silver pieces available, so please check our eBay Store for other great items.  We are always happy to combine packing to save on shipping charges.
