TOP OF THE MORNING - Vickers VC-10 by Roger Murray AGAvA
In the latter part of the 1960s BOAC operated a varied fleet of aircraft. The Vickers VC-10 was used in two models but was not to gain the universal praise as others in the fleet did. The aircraft was tailor-made for BOAC’s ‘hot and high’ routes and possessed many great qualities. In the end though it was outshone by American designs.
