At the request of several customers, I have searched and located a small supply of Natural Black Star Sapphire. These are natural, mined stones. They HAVE been heat treated to help bring out the star, but the result is, they have a really good clean star.
I'm really pleased with the results, and will be offering this stone in several of our nicer rings.
In plain English, this is simply a very pretty stone, and it's well mounted in this Sterling Silver ring. Gives me goosebumps just to look at it.
A simple, three leaf filigree, this ring so totally shows off the stone. The stone, by the way, is held in place with 6 prongs.
