All our teas are packaged and shipped on the same day that your payment is received. Our bags are triple layered and flavor block to keep teas fresh. FORMOSA  OOLONG:

Oolong means semi fermented. After rolling, the tea is allowed to ferment only until the edges of the leaves start to turn brown. The tea is then fired which arrests the fermenting process and captures the interesting character. Producing Oolong tea involves highly specialized skills in the control of withering, oxidation and firing. The husbandry of the tea farmer is a legacy passed down from many generations. Oolong tea is nicknamed as "Weight Loss Tea" due to its health benefit of increased metabolism. Formosa Oolong is the best long-fired Oolong from Taiwan (Formosa).  Its character is smooth and slightly sweet, toasty with a touch of dryness, a rich amber liquid. 

HOT TEA: Put  a slightly heaping tsp of loose tea for each 8oz of freshly boiled water. Steep 3-7 minutes. Milk and sugar are not recommended for this tea. 

ICED TEA: 6 slightly heaping tsp of loose tea for each 1QT iced tea. Pour 1 1/4 cup boiling water on tea. Steep 5 minutes. Quarter fill serving pitcher with cold water. Pour into pitcher straining tea. Add ice.
