Eye of Ra Horus & Ankh Necklace | 20" Egyptian Artisan Jewellery

I derive my inspirations from my love for travel and fascination with otherworldly realms. I made this Egyptian themed pendant using 24k gold tone clay and turquoise clay. The piece is glossed and hand painted with subtle sprinkles of opal dust. This is difficult to show in photos, but the effect is quite wonderful. The antique tone copper chain is handmade with a beautiful bead - which I made by blending the two clay colours together. The chain really brings this whole piece full circle.

This necklace is very light to wear and has a metal plaque-like look. 

Length of this pendant is 3.2 cm and it is 5.5 cm wide. 

It is a fabulous piece to own for anyone who loves Egypt and Egyptian themed jewellery and accessories. 

It would also make a truly unique gift.

Copper oxidises and turns a darker, richer tone over time. This is a beautiful feature and if, like me, you love copper this should not be viewed as an unwelcome change. Often, copper jewellery is intentionally darkened to create this earthy, very desirable look. However, if you like, feel free to give it a quick polish to restore the copper's rusty tone.
