OLD WORKING SAGINAW BAY DUCK DECOY

This is a nice old decoy made of wood.

It is a solid wood decoy with a long body.

 It was used on Saginaw Bay in Michigan.

It was a working decoy which has been painted over in brownish tones with some detailing.

The decoy has nice lines with a keel on the bottom to keep it floating upright. 

It has a blocky head.

It measures 17" long X 5-1/2" wide X 6-1/2" tall plus a 1-1/4" keel.

A great compliment to your country decor.

Doesn't take a lot of space and makes for interesting conversation.

An interesting piece of America's past.
