A great little tool for filiing and cutting top nuts so that your strings sit perfectly with the action as low as you wish and a price that is so cheap every guitarist can afford to buy one now. Please note this is an upgraded version of the original file where the wire files are now 100mm long with heavier 30mm long cutting file "teeth"

If you look at the close up photo of the largest and smallest files you will see that the cutting surface is a series of concentric "grooves" around the file that provide the cut.

The circular files fold out from the aluminium casing and include all the following sizes so even if you have a guitar with hefty strings tuned down to Low C this file will cut the string groove for it. 12 round files in the set in the following approximate sizes.

0.062", 0.054", 0.046", 0.041", 0.038", 0.035", 0.032", 0.029", 0.024", 0.022", 0.018", 0.013"

Please note this is NOT a profesional grade nut file tool that will set you back a lot of money BUT it is perfect for the average guitarist and home builder to successfully file and adjust a few plastic top nuts. Flipping heck its not much more money than the cost of an average top nut itself. File sizes are approximate as measured by me with a digital micrometer.

NOTE - this is only suitable for plastic top nuts. It will not cut bone, metal or Tusq nuts, all you'll do is wear out your elbow trying, it is ONLY suitable for plastic top nuts. And once again, I can't stress enough, this is NOT a professional grade tool, its a cheap and cheerful way to achieve the job

To be totally honest with you it's actually designed for clearing welding nozzles but is perfect for top nuts as well. The file set also includes a flat file, which I presume is of some use to welders, but I can't see any real use for it for guitarists. I only mention it becuase it's there in the set

Customer ordering from outside the UK please read this.

Standard shipping to destinations outside the UK.
When sending goods outside the UK we use Royal mail standard airmail.

Tracked shipping to destinations outside the UK.
If you require online tracking for your order please make sure you select the paid shipping upgrade for this. If you do not select to have tracked shipping you will not receive a tracking number, even if you request one from us we will not be able to provide one. This is not us being difficult or awkward, it is just how the system works. It is not possible to to provide tracked shipping to all international destinations as some simply do not have this facility, in these cases the service is classed as Signed For and does not have online tacking, but does have Proof of Delivery.

Shipping Times / Expected Delivery Date.
We ship all orders within one working day ( Monday to Friday ) of your payment being made. Your eBay sales record will automatically update and show that your order is on the way to you. The dates eBay give for expected arrival and only estimates of a possible date and are often widely optimistic,  in reality the delivery date will often be several days after this, depending on location and the efficiency of your local postal service. This is beige our control, we do our bit by posting out as soon as possible but once it leaves us it is in the hands of the postal services as to exactly when it gets delivered. Most deliveries are problem free but in the unlikely event of there being an issue please message us first rather than using the eBay “where is my delivery” option. We are able to respond far faster by direct contact.

How do we do them so cheap ?
We buy in bulk direct from the manufacturers and only sell online. We don't have costly overheads of high street premises, there's no middle man to pay, we don't pay for fancy retail packaging etc. and these savings are passed on to you the customer.

Are they any good ?
Yes. I have been building guitars for over 30 years and these are the same quality parts I use myself. We only sell stuff we use ourselves.

They're not seconds or regraded goods passed off as new are they ?
Defintely not. These are all brand new, 1st grade guitar parts. Ocassionally we do sell second hand or reclaimed parts and when we do this is clearly stated in the listing notes.

Can I return them ?
Yes but only if they are faulty ( see above ). We provide all the dimensions etc in the llisting so please ensure they will fit your guitar before you purchase. A couple of minutes spent with a ruler and your favourite axe will avoid the disappointment and aggro of having them turn up and not fit .

Do you do other guitar stuff ?
Hell Yes. Pleas check our other listings to see what great deals you can get when buying from us.

Any other questions please feel free to ask.
