Description

Italian cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) is a fast-growing evergreen tree that is native to the Mediterranean region. It is known for its narrow, columnar shape and its dark green foliage. Italian cypress can be grown as a hedge, a privacy screen, or a specimen tree.

These seeds are fresh and have a high germination rate. They are non-GMO and have been harvested from healthy, mature trees.

How to Grow

Italian cypress seeds can be sown in the fall or spring. They should be stratified for 3-4 weeks before planting. To stratify the seeds, place them in a bag with a small amount of moist sawdust and refrigerate.

Once the seeds have been stratified, they can be planted in a well-drained soil. The soil should be kept moist but not soggy. The seeds will germinate in 2-4 weeks.

Care

Italian cypress trees are relatively low-maintenance. They need full sun and well-drained soil. They should be watered regularly, especially during the first year.
