This is an EXTREMELY rare pair of genuine, Japanese-made Sony MDR-E868 Fontopia earphones that are in perfect condition.  These earphones use Sapphire Evaporated Diaphragms for the drivers, and are widely considered to provide more analytical and detailed oriented sound than the MDR-E888's.  They feature:

  • 16mm drivers 
  • super-wide frequency response of 10 - 25,000Hz 
  • 16 ohm impedance
  • power handing capacity of 50 mW
  • gold-plated plug
  • Neodymium magnets
  While the earphones are in perfect condition, the carrying case developed a crack when I was traveling, as shown in the pic.  However the winding action works just fine.

Since this is a used item I'm not making any warranties here, but I will certainly accept a return if I agree something was misrepresented.  Your payment will be refunded as soon as I receive the item back in its original condition, however shipping costs are not refundable.
