Excellent (EX): The disc has very few if any visual flaws.  The disc should play with minimal surface noise and no skips or repeating.  The label’s print and color are clear and undamaged.

Very Good+ (VG+): The disc has minimal visual flaws which should not affect the audio to a great degree.  However, the play may have random static noise and crackle, but should not skip or repeat.  The label may have slight marring or scuffing, but the print will be legible.  There may be writing on the label.

Very Good (VG): The disc has visual flaws.  The disc may have static noise, crackle, clicks or pops, but should play through without skipping or repeating.  The label may be damaged and show signs of wear, with possible writing on the label.
