What type vinyl is this?

This is DeTape 650 Series Polymeric Gloss Vinyl. With a 5-7 year exterior guarantee polymeric vinyl with a permanent acrylic adhesive is suited to long term exterior work and conforms to curves extremely well.
Vinyl letters and vinyl numbers can be used on vehicles for business branding and contact details. Vinyl lettering can be used for shop signs and window displays as it can easily be applied to glass.
Vinyl lettering is great for boat names and SSR numbers, racing cars, ski jets, canal boats, house name and numbers.

If the lettering is for use inside a window and needs to be read from the outside select Reverse Cut, for everything else use Normal Cut.

How to Install a Vinyl Lettering and Graphics?:

First, apply vinyl stickers only to clean, smooth surfaces. The cleaner the surface, the better your sticker will adhere. Application to surfaces colder than 4ºC is not recommended, unless the surface can be heated slightly with a hair dryer before application.

Before application, place the sticker on a flat surface and remove the white backing sheet, leaving the sticker attached to the clear "transfer" sheet.

Vinyl stickers can be applied directly by peeling off the release paper from the back of the sticker, affix the sticker, apply slight pressure to smooth, rub and leave for a few minutes and remove the transfer sheet. Use caution with this "dry method" as, once the sticker makes contact with the surface, it is stuck and you can’t reposition it.

Once the sticker is in place, carefully peel off the backing paper. If an edge of the sticker lifts from the surface, use the credit card to smooth it back down.
