Analog Panel  VU Meter Driver Audio Level Stereo with Peak LED Indicator Board Module DIY KIT

 DIY KIT BOARD ONLY (no meters) !!!

 

This is myboard to drive two analog VU meters.

 You need to assemble their own module from the received items, buy an additional analog VU meters and connect the  to the PCB module, plug in the power supply voltage and input to the audio device.

You should have good soldering skills and understanding electronics !

 

In this item, the kit does not include the cost ,,analog VU meters and

Power supply + 12V 0,2A power, only parts for PCB assembly module!

The final finishing, fixing analog VU meters, you have to do yourself.

 

Input signal should be from your systems "audio line out".

You can feed the maximum device voltage of 19V, but it is necessary to stabilizer

install an additional radiator.

 

Features of the indicator.

The scheme of the indicator is designed from specialized microcircuits for controlling the signal level produced in the USSR.

K157DA1 - detector - signal level amplifier.

К157ХП1 - detector of peak signal level on LEDs.

All IC chips are tested!

In the module it is possible to connect the incandescent lamps of the panel lighting.

The supply voltage for incandescent lamps can be adjusted by a resistor in the range from 1.3 to 12V.

The peak LED illuminates when the signal peaks are short, 0.7V amplitude, which corresponds to + 3dB.

Indicators are arrow, operate from the minimum input signal, starting from 0.25V

The maximum input audio signal applied to the module is 1.6V.

If you want to apply a large signal amplitude, you will need to collect an additional resistor divider at the module input.

Input analog signal for LED is minimal, V: 0.65

Input analog signal for LED rated operational, V: 0.7 RMS (+3dB)

The analog input signal is maximum, V: 1.8
