Add a bit of history to your wall with these brightly colored, genuine vintage Peter Max posters, prime examples of the work of the most well known Psychedelic pop artist of the 1960's and 1970's.  The posters measure approximately 16" x 11," and would look great either framed or just pinned to the wall.

These posters are from two rare, out of print poster collections printed in 1970 and 1971. You can view each different poster by selecting the title from the drop down menu to the right of the photograph, or you can scroll through the entire catalog by double clicking on the photo until the image appears full screen, then just click on the arrow on the right to go forward and the arrow on the left to go back.  Scrolling through the photos will enable you to look at all the posters, even those that are currently unavailable.

From Wikipedia:

"Peter Max
(born Peter Max Finkelstein, October 19, 1937) is an American artist known for using bright colors in his work.  Max synthesized the "Summer of love" into artworks from posters to mugs, clocks, scarves, clothes, and postage stamps. His work is an indispensable guide for cultural literacy of the 1960s, and his work commands a large following worldwide and is consistently collected by the art world."

"London Arts Gallery" and "Nithya" are on two sides of the same poster.  The flip side of the poster is shown in the photograph after the main photograph for each listing, which you can view if you double-click on the photo of the item and then scroll to the next photograph.

The poster entitled "Contemporary Arts Center - See For Yourself" is 32" x 16" and was originally folded in thirds (it will be shipped folded in thirds and rolled). The back of this poster has a cartoon about Peter Max entitled "Mister Mouse meets Peter Max," which is an interesting period piece and worthy of display itself.  A few of these posters were printed slightly off center.  The backs of some of the posters have a small caption describing the next poster in the collection, as the posters were originally bound together in sequence.   A few of the posters have other text, photographs, or art on the back. Since "Atman" is a black and white line drawing and has colored artwork on the reverse side, it may be slightly visible through the paper when held up to the light, with some copies showing through slightly even when on a flat surface.

These posters are highly collectible and are becoming harder to get, and their value is sure to increase as time wears on. Get your own piece of history now while prices are still relatively low.  If you don't see the poster you want in stock today, please check back with me as I add stock when it becomes available, although these posters are becoming more and more difficult to obtain.  Shipping is flat rate, $5.00 per order, and the posters will be shipped rolled up in a sturdy tube.  Flat rate shipping will be applied automatically if you put all of your selections in the cart before paying, but if you order singly at the same time I will issue a refund for the extra shipping charges.  Posters can be shipped flat upon request, but a couple have been bent in the past by USPS when shipped this way, causing some creasing damage to the posters, which is why I switched to shipping them in tubes.  Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.  Thank you for looking.
