The complete set of 1979-80 OPC hockey is present (396 cards). Saved from childhood by the original owner who consigned it to me for sale. While far from high grade, this remains a significant set to own with arguably, the most famous hockey rookie card ever issued as part of it!

Throughout the run, a fair amount (but NOT all) show creasing. This varies in scope. Some are minor or moderate, while other's like #185 Hull and the checklists are heavy (as an aside, all 3 checklists are completely unmarked)! Regardless of individual state, almost all of these same cards retain decent to nice colors and gloss for uniform eye appeal in the 9 pocket sheets this set is displayed in! Corner wise, most fall into the VG or VG/EX range. Owing to this sets one owner history and composite outlined above, the #18 Wayne Gretzky RC came back a KSA 4 (VGE) when it was recently sent in for grading! 

Some of the other key cards are clean (or almost so) including #81 Winnipeg Jets team logo (clean back), #100 Bryan Trottier, #150 Ken Dryden, #175 Gordie Howe (couple of border nicks along the left side but no actual creasing), #191 Charlie Simmer RC (wax stains), #230 Mike Bossy 2nd Year, #241 Ken Linseman RC, #281 Greg Millen RC,  #386 Barry Melrose RC.

Finally, the entire run of team cards (#244-261) including the Quebec Nordiques, "plus" #81 Winnipeg Jets logo, #82 Edmonton Oilers logo and #163 Hartford Whalers logo, have clean, unmarked backs! The significance of this should not be overlooked as it is very difficult and time consuming to acquire each and every one of these in their original, as issued state!
