Apple Lisa 1

Steve Jobs wanted to create a masterpiece. With the Apple Lisa 1 he achieved his goal and made computer history.

It was his personal vision of the future of computers.

With the release on January, 1983 it was also the first personal computers available with a mouse and  graphical user interface (GUI).

The development began in 1978, the same year his daughter Lisa Brennan Jobs was born. She is also the reason he named the famous machine Apple LISA.

The Lisa was a milestone in history of the modern art  computers and is nowadays one of the rarest machines existing.

Collectors guess between 20-100 are left on our planet.

What makes it so rare?

Condition:

This Lisa 1 is optically and technically in excellent condition. Both twiggy drives are working and spinning perfectly. As seen in the video I tested the drives with a Lisa Test disc and everything seems to work just fine. Also the case is, expect of the normal yellowing over the last 35!!! years, perfect. The twiggy drives themselves are in pristine and mint condition.

I got this Lisa from a collector who purchased the computer over 34 years ago and only turned it on a few times after storing it for the rest of the time.

Also a lot of manuals, accessories and rare 5,25 discs are coming with the computer.

Included with the Apple Lisa 1:
