Nice estate fresh WW2 era M1903 A3 Springfield rifle stock, scant stock version. Measures approx 40 1/8 inches long and is in good used condition.....just needs a little cleaning. No cracks to the stock. There is an approx 1 inch long by 1/4 inch wide chip at the very tip of the stock that would be covered by the upper band. Has butt plate, band spring and 1 sling buckle installed. Marked S in the recess cutout and then RA-P which I believe is Raritan Arsenal but I not am expert so if I'm wrong, don't beat me up too bad, it was not intentional....you guys are the gurus, not me....I'm just the middleman who finds this stuff and moves on down the road. This stock has great old color and patina....has not been messed around with from what I can tell. There are the initials HP lightly etched into the wood on the underside near where the trigger mechanism would go. It is offered AS-IS so please study all of the photos closely and make your own assessment of condition and to make sure that this item suits your needs as the pictures are part of the description and are of the actual item you will receive. Thanks for looking and please feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will do my best to answer them, and if I was wrong in any of my info, please don't hesitate to correct me but be nice ;-)
