Why should I upgrade with MicroSD Cards and NOT with a Solid State Hard Drive?
Solid State Hard Drives are a problem for a few reasons. The first is that SSDs require a lot of power. If you see a seller that is offering a solid state hard drive upgrade, stay away. When I was first upgrading my own iPod I tried an SSD and found that I could only get about 3 hours of playback time on it because the battery was drained too fast.
No matter what battery you put into your iPod, an SSD will drain your battery fast. MicroSDs require less power than the original hard drive that came with your iPod and will give you more playback time even with an older battery.

How Does This Work?

3. Back up your iPod to your computer. Once theupgrade is complete you will need to re-sync your iPod to your computer.
4. Package your item. Make sure you use bubblewrap to protect the device during shipment. Send me the tracking info for yourpackage. Consider insurance!
5. I will perform the upgrade and send the iPodback to you! Simple as that!
How Long Does ThisTake?
From the day you ship your iPod to me to the day you receiveit back, the entire time should be no later than 14 days. Most of the time itonly takes about 10 days.
