These Lovely handmade rustic sanded log stools are suitable indoor or outdoor use, made from fresh sustainable English Larch timbers with character markings. Can be used for a manner of different things, garden table, foot stool, side table, pub/kitchen stools etc.

Each stool will have it's own individual look and grain markings.  We have two heights listed either 18" high or 15" high x approximate 13"diameter, cut to size, sanded  smoothed.   Each stool is made by hand we also offer other sizes which can be made to order.

Log stools are sanded smooth to it's Natural Finish with an option of oiled or unoiled.  You can leave the stool/s in it's natural raw finish to allow to weather or applying a good wood oil will help to nourish.  Please allow the wood to dry out completely before staining or painting, placing a protective mat under the base of the stool is also advisable to protect flooring if using indoors. 

The photographs listed show the stools in either a light colour which are natural or slightly darker which are oiled.  As you can see from the photos once oil is applied this can slightly darken the wood and sometimes show a slight blue tinge in colour, this is the pigment in the wood bringing out the grain, each stool will be different.

Please note that natural wood is green and hasn't been kilned or air dried so remember that it will show cracks and character as it dries out overtime. You can apply further wood varnishes/oils to help nourish the wood or leave as it is to dry out naturally.
