Adrenalin 4x4 heavy duty castor corrected radius arms for Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models.

When a coil sprung Land Rover is lifted the caster angle of the front axle is changed. The effect this can have is vagueness and the lack of self-centring of the steering. For trucks with suspension lifts we recommend fitting caster corrected radius arms to return the steering to the correct geometry.  We have a range of sizes and degrees of correction available. We have 2 sizes available, early narrow type (38mm) to fit DEF up to approximately 1992 or RRC up to approximately 1986 or later wider type (44mm), to fit all DISCO1’s, DEF from approximately 1992 onwards and RRC models from approximately 1986 onwards, each available in 3 different castor options, standard, 3 degree for 2/3 inch lift or 6 degree castor corrected for 4/5 inch lift.

Specification
  •     CAD designed and castor corrected to suit up to 5 inch lift.
  •     Super heavy duty construction using 20mm plate and 40mm solid bar.
  •     10mm shorter than standard arms to overcome the front shocks colliding with the front dislocation cones under     articulation.
  •     Incorporated “cranked design” to relief pressure on the chassis bushes when under articulation.
  •     Shot blasted and powder coated.
  •     Can be used with standard or polyurethane bushes.
  •     Arms are notched on the insides to prevent contact with outrigger on Defender models

Fitting notes

  • Please be aware before fitting that these radius arms are sided left and right (notch to inside).
  • All our radius arms feature the strong later type 20mm pin at the chassis end, if your truck has the early 16mm arms you will need to fit the later 20mm bushes instead.
