This pair of contact prints date from the late-1950s, probably 1957-1958. They contain a few unusual and offbeat images, including four transvestite self portraits (whom I believe is the photographer). There are a couple of swell Christmas pictures of what looks like a decoration display. There are a series of images depicting people dressed in winter clothes sunbathing with those funny sun reflectors. There is an interesting series that I believe were taken to highlight an invention. These pictures show the interior of a car with the driver placing things into and removing them from a receptacle hanging from the steering wheel (I assume this receptacle was the invention). Finally, there are a few random artistic images, including a shot of a junkyard, a small jon boat in the water, kids sledding in the snow, and a lone chair propped against the side of a house. The two 8x10 contact sheets contain images that measure approximately 2.25 inches x 2.25 inches.
