This 90° adapter is primarily used in tight clearance situations to avoid speedometer cable installations that require severe bends in the cable, which in turn create a "Bouncing" Speedometer Needle. This unit has a 1-to-1 direct-drive ratio.
Connects to all GM transmissions both Manual and Automatic that are equipped with a 7/8-18 thread Speedometer output connection on the transmission including,
Powerglide, Turboglide, TH-200-4R, TH-350, TH-400, TH-700-R4, Muncie, Saginaw & Borg-Warner 3 & 4-speed manual transmissions.
