Nigel Cabourn New Pocket Tenzing Jacket in Tan.

Brand new with tags. Retail price £495.
A classic Cabourn design, originally released in February 2012. Obviously now rare to come by, especially in new condition.
The Tenzing Jacket is a classic Nigel Cabourn piece. The design is based on images of the tweed ‘sports jacket’ worn by Sherpa Norgay Tenzing on many of his Everest expeditions. In-keeping with the theme of SS12, the Tenzing has been rendered in a lightweight cotton/linen blend and left unlined, and features a new buttoned pocket with a selvage detail. The jacket sports beautiful corozo buttons that are riveted and then attached to button holes with metal rings, NOT just sewn on.
- 60% cotton 40% linen slubbed twill construction
- Corozo buttons
- Two front flap pockets
- Buttoned chest pocket with contrasting selvedge detail
- Metal latch at collar
- Single vent at back
- Made in England
- Extremely limited numbers
