Frequency Sweep Technology is Featured in all of our X-Tronic Ultrasonic Cleaners and an ultrasonic cleaner "with" a Sweep Function uses multiple ultrasonic frequencies during the ultrasonic cleaning process no matter how many transducers are built into the unit.  In ultrasonic cleaning, Sweep is defined as a purposeful deviation from the center frequency during the operation as a function of time.  The result of using this function is that there will be "No Dead Spots" in the cleaning tank and makes for Much Superior Cleaning of y our Object.  Ultrasonic Cleaners "without" the Sweep Function use just one single frequency to create the cavitation effect in the unit and this means that there "Will Be Dead Spots" in the cavitation thus the cleaning of that object will be inferior.

By using the Sweep Function, every object you put into your cleaning tank to be cleaned will have perfect uniform cavitation cleaning that object with (again) no dead spots.

It it our recommendation to use the Sweep Function each and every time you ultrasonically clean any object because with this Sweep Cleaning we know that you will be much more satisfied with the quality of the cleaning results.

Independent studies have shown that the Overall Satisfaction Rate of the Cleaning Results received using an ultrasonic cleaner "With" a Sweep Function were in excess of 200% more favorable than using one "Without" a Sweep Function.

All X-Tronic Ultrasonic Cleaners also Feature a Degassing Function.  A Degassing Process should be undertaken each time fresh cleaning solutions are prepared.  You have the option of not degassing fresh ultrasonic solutions, but the penalty is decreased cleaning efficiency.

In a sentence, the Degas Mode pulses the ultrasonic power On and Off.  During the On Phase, the bubbles form and coalesce and during the Off Phase, these bubbles rise to the surface and burst.  This by the way, is why cleaners equipped with degas are more efficient that those not so equipped.

So when you mix a fresh solution in your tank, we Highly Recommend that you turn on and run the degassing function for approximately 5 minutes.
