This listing is for an unusual Wallace Sterling Silver dessert tray with pierced/reticulated border, engraved floral decorated outer edge and eight oval shaped sections encircling the round center. Its original purpose is uncertain but possibly for oysters? There is a reticulated design in between the outer curve of each shaped section with an elaborately intertwined unidentified monogram in the center. Tray sits on a low pedestal base. Marked with the trademark stamp for Wallace Silversmiths and "Sterling, C 1384". 

Measures 1 1/2" high and 10 1/4" in diameter. Weighs 392 grams. 

This beautiful tray is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting on minor signs of normal wear.
