For your consideration, we are offering for auction circa 1960 "Murph" Murphy Silver Plate Figural Steer Wrestling Ashtray / Trophy. The base is an ashtray - we also think it could have been given as a trophy. It displays a man holding a steer by the horns on this back. The edge os the ashtray is marked with, "SOS MURPH MURPHY 57-60". The underneath area of the base is not marked. It measures roughly 6" inches tall and 5 7/8" inches across the base. It is a stout piece, it weighs 1.7 pounds. 

Certainly an interesting ashtray/trophy with steer wrestling thrown into the piece that really gives it the charm.

I spend a great deal of time traveling, talking with people, sitting at auctions and waiting in line at estate sales to find these pieces. If you would like different pictures or have concerns on damage, on whether it is repainted or repaired ask before bidding. If I can find out, I will. These are antiques so expect them not to be "perfect".

Refunds: Item must be returned within 30 days of receiving it. The item cost will be refunded. (Buyer pays all shipping and insurance). Item must be returned with Delivery Confirmation. Item must be returned to qualify for a refund. I do not give refunds for uninsured items if they get broke in shipping. ( I do pack carefully, I do not want them to arrive broken.)
