The design of the clamping nut is designed for a perfect grip. The surface is gold-plated to prevent any corrosion. IC and IEC conformity is achieved through transparent Makrolon full insulation of all live parts.

External connection

A 4 mm banana plug can be connected to the front part of the clamping nut.

With the clamping nuts, cable lugs and crimped cable ends can be connected with high pressure. Thanks to the pavement milling of the pressure piece base, the connection is permanently and securely held with very low contact resistance. In addition, the shearing of cable strands is prevented if bare cable ends are used. The clamping nut is made in two parts, the lower part can be rotated freely. This prevents cable strands from shearing if bare cable ends are used.

Internal connection
Cables with a cross-section of up to 10 mm² can be used inside. The connections can be soldered or crimped. WBT recommends the surface-protecting silver solder WBT-0800 for soldering technology.
A T.6 Torx screw is also required for crimp connection technology.

Installation
Built-in insulation is supplied which, in addition to the insulated one, also ensures a non-rotatable installation and pole identification. This also includes lock nuts, double step washers with lugs and puzzle disks. These puzzle pieces can be clipped into each other. This results in precise terminal spacings of 19 or 30 mm, but above all, absolute protection against rotation. In the case of devices subject to strong structure-borne noise, such as B. speakers, an additional nut lock z. B. by the WBT serrated lock washer WBT-9150. When using the spacer WBT-9404, the WBT-0765 can also be conveniently installed as a double pole terminal with a specified 19mm spacing. Thanks to the snap-in grooves, the inlet opening for connection cables can be rotated in 45 ° steps.

Note for device manufacturers
Due to existing safety regulations, the 4 mm banana holes of WBT pole terminals must be closed with the WBT-0799 Safety Stick.
