This unit allows you to take the HDMI output from your video game system, blu-ray player, or any other HDMI device in 1080p HD Resolution and output either to VGA (like on a computer monitor) or to Component Video (like on an older Television without HDMI).

Output resolution will also be up to 1080p.

It was taken out of the package, but never used.
