These devices are designed to be connected together so that if one alarm sounds, all alarms sound at the same time. This can be achieved by either hard wiring with cable, or by using RadioLink bases which provide wireless communication between the alarms. If RadioLink bases are used a mains supply is still required at each alarm position.

EI168RC - RadioLink Wireless Base
- For use with 2100, 160RC and 140 range alarms
- Prevents nees to run cables between alarms
- Provides wireless interconnection between alarms, no interlink cable is required. When an attached smoke or heat alarm is activated the base transmits a signal to all alarms in the system, setting them into alarm state. When the original alarm stops sounding it sends a cancel signal, silencing all alarms
- Up to 20 units can be fitted into one system
