This listing is for a nice Art Deco buffet or shelf lamp with a Loetz gold iridescent Art Glass shade. The shade has a beautiful gold iridescence with vibrant fushia highlights and a ribbed body. The internal glass design is flowing in diagonal streaks across the entire body. Shade is unmarked, however, it has all the characteristics of Loetz glass. The shade fits perfectly into a bronzed metal pierced decorated base with good cord.
Measures 8 3/4" high (as shown). Shade measures 6" high with a 2 1/4" fitter and a 5 1/8" wide top (point to point). Stand measures 3 1/2" wide or 5" wide (foot to foot). Combined weight is 1.8 pounds.
This lamp has a nice overall appearance with no major flaws. The shade has a tiny, faint no-harm flake on the outside edge of the top (barely noticed) and minor roughness (not chipped) around the fitter rim as made. The antique bronze finish on the base has a some minor scratches consistent with normal wear and age.
