Ford Thunderbird

This beautiful 1962 Ford Thunderbird has spent most of her life in the garage, it has a older restoration but still looks stunning with no rust. It has the Ford 390 V8 with a brand-new Holley carburetor, has less than 100 miles on it and starts perfectly in the coldest of Oregon weather.

This has been my wife’s T-bird, so it has meticulously maintained.  Only driven during the summer to the beach and back. But she has decided she wants a convertible and one must go before one appears,

All dash gauges work, except the clock. Original AM radio still works. Tilt away steering wheel works perfectly. Cigarette lighter still works, newer interstate battery.

In the last 1500 miles I have put new BF Goodrich Radials on it, replaced the water pumo, thermostat and heater hoses. At the beginning of the summer I noticed it was getting harder to start so I replaced the carburetor with a new one not rebuilt. When we first bought it we replaced the trunk and inside with new black carpet. Also, when we bought it we put in period correct seat belts, we have children and they love the beach, but we wanted to be safe a possible.

It is one of the most reliable classic cars you’ll come across. I wouldn’t worry about driving it anywhere you wanted to but do expect to many comments everywhere.

I have a reasonable reserve set on it. Please look on the YouTube videos to see it run and drive. Happy bidding
