Welcome to Antiques & Moore!

This listing is for a GORGEOUS embossed gilt bronze frame in the shape of a harp embellished with "jewels" and framing a porcelain painting of a melancholy Cherub with his chin resting on his arms. The portrait is mounted in a gilded bezel with a rope surround onto a harp with an easel back for standing. The harp is decorated with three different engraved designs and is further embellished with amber and turquoise cabochon "stones" that are bezel set in a flower shaped bezel. This nice item is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. There is minor wear to the gilded frame from normal aging and the stones have not been tested for gem quality. The portrait is in excellent condition with no noted flaws. The hinge is tight and the easel sits securely, however, the easel shape is slightly bent.
