L'obelisco deve la sua nascita alla antica civiltà egizia, ma è stato impiegato nell'architettura di numerose culture attraverso i secoli fino ad oggi. Gli Egizi ritenevano che Ra, il dio Sole, dimorasse in essi ed erano soliti posizionarli in coppia all'ingresso dei templi e in punti precisi delle città al fine di favorirne la fecondità e il circolo delle energie benevole. La città di Roma possiede ben 9 obelischi Egizi originali, che furono sottratti durante la conquista d'Egitto. 

Il Marmo Giallo Siena è uno dei marmi più prestigiosi e particolari che si estraggono in Italia, viene estratto dalle colline senesi che sono costituite da rocce metamorfiche sedimentarie. E' caratterizzato da un colore di fondo giallo scuro ed è eterogeneo per la presenza di venature con tonalità che vanno dal bianco avorio al giallo ocra. Apprezzato sin dall'antichità, oggi questo marmo è richiesto per la realizzazione di progetti di pregio. Il giallo richiama l'immagine dell'oro, del sole e della luce, è simbolo del lusso e della forza, ed emblema dei trionfi militari, delle incoronazioni, dei matrimoni regali, tanto da essere chiamato "oro litico", anche per la sua rarità.  

Il Marmo Portoro una particolare varietà di marmo originaria della provincia di La Spezia, in Liguria, e più precisamente della zona di Portovenere, da cui il nome Portoro. Si tratta di una pietra molto decorativa dal fondo nero profondo con intense venature color oro, ideale per la realizzazione di oggetti d'arredo lussuosi, dal sapore tradizionale eppure perfettamente adatti anche agli ambienti più moderni.
