L'obelisco deve la sua nascita alla antica civiltà egizia, ma è stato impiegato nell'architettura di numerose culture attraverso i secoli fino ad oggi. Gli Egizi ritenevano che Ra, il dio Sole, dimorasse in essi ed erano soliti posizionarli in coppia all'ingresso dei templi e in punti precisi delle città al fine di favorirne la fecondità e il circolo delle energie benevole. La città di Roma possiede ben 9 obelischi Egizi originali, che furono sottratti durante la conquista d'Egitto. 

La sfera è simbolo di perfezione, immagine della Terra e dei Corpi Celesti, forma geometrica in cui si uniscono finito ed infinito. La sfera evoca da sempre grandiosi significati e sfida la comprensione umana all'universo fisico.

Il marmo di Carrara è il marmo per antonomasia. Viene estratto a Carrara, una piccola città celebre per il suo paesaggio dominato da montagne bianche caratterizzate dai bacini marmiferi a cielo aperto, situata lungo la costa della Toscana settentrionale. I primi ad apprezzare l'aspetto artistico e commerciale del marmo di Carrara sono stati i Romani, che lo utilizzavano per la costruzione di palazzi imperiali o per la realizzazione di statue già dal primo secolo a.C. L'industria marmorea raggiunse però il suo massimo prestigio verso la fine del Quattrocento con l'arrivo di grandi personalità del Rinascimento. Il paesaggio delle cave di Carrara è la conseguenza dell'interazione tra uomo e territorio, dalle originarie condizioni naturali di poche rocce bianche si è arrivati fino ai giorni nostri con un aumento imponente dell'ampiezza delle aree marmifere, che hanno dato luogo a uno scenario unico al mondo. 

Il marmo Bardiglio, proveniente dall'Italia, appartiene alla famiglia dei marmi di cui fanno anche parte i marmi bianchi. Dal colore d'insieme grigio scuro è caratterizzato da sottilissime venature ad andamento parallelo, di colore grigio scuro, grigio chiaro e biancastre. Il Bardiglio con le sue venature armoniose e l'intensità del colore, lo rendono un materiale molto usato per la realizzazione dei pavimenti e rivestimenti di pregio, sia per interni che per esterni.

The obelisk owes its birth to the ancient Egyptian civilization, but has been employed in the architecture of many cultures through the centuries up to today. The Egyptians believed that Ra, the Sun god, dwelled in them and used to place them in pairs at the entrance of the temples and at specific points in the cities in order to foster their fertility and the circle of benevolent energies. The city of Rome has 9 original Egyptian obelisks, which were subtracted during the conquest of Egypt. 

The orbs is a symbol of perfection, an image of the Earth and the celestial objects, a geometric form in which they are finite and infinite. The orbs always evokes grandiose meanings and challenges human understanding to the physical universe.

Carrara marble is the marble par excellence. It is mined in Carrara, a small town famous for its landscape dominated by white mountains characterized by open-air marble basins, located along the northern Tuscany coast. The first to appreciate the artistic and commercial aspect of Carrara marble were the Romans, who used it for the construction of imperial palaces or for the creation of statues since the first century BC. The marble industry, however, reached its maximum prestige towards the end of the fifteenth century with the arrival of great Renaissance personalities. The landscape of the Carrara quarries is the result of the interaction between man and territory, from the original natural conditions of a few white rocks to the present day with an impressive increase in the size of the marble areas, which gave rise to a scenario unique in the world.

Bardiglio marble, coming from Italy, belongs to the family of marbles of which white marbles are also part. The dark gray color is characterized by very thin veins with a parallel pattern, dark gray, light gray and whitish. Bardiglio with its harmonious grain and intensity of color, make it a very used material for the realization of valuable floors and coverings, both for interiors and exteriors.
