Self Adjustable Chimney Cowl
Firefighter

The fireman-type chimney cowl is used for smoke chimneys (except for furnaces fired with solid fuels such as coal, fine coal or eco-pea coal), combustion and ventilation duct.
In extreme cases, you can use a cowl on the chimney flue to which the fireplace is connected and the fuel is wood.
The fire guard is installed to ensure proper draft by creating negative pressure in the chimney flue and preventing reverse draft.
Another purpose of use is to protect the cable against precipitation: rain, snow, etc.
The fireman's cowl should be mounted on the top of the chimney, directly on the pipe or using a base.
In both cases, fire stations should be mounted above the roof top.
