This listing is for a lovely late 19th Century painting on porcelain portrait of girl mounted in a gold filled mounting with ring at top for mounting.
The portrait is fitted in an engraved decorative bezel and has a solid gold filled back. The painting is beautifully done with nice details and although it is a portrait seen many times, I am not aware of the subject's or artist's identification.
Measures 1/8" thick, 3 5/8" long (not including hanging ring) and 2 3/4" wide. Weighs 3.2 ounces.
This nice portrait painting is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws to the portrait or front side of the piece although the solid metal backing does have some no-harm scratches.
