Custom Made Drive Axles for Harbor Freight 10" Wheels
Create your own custom RC droid or all terrain Arduino robotics project.
These axles are specifically designed to function with Harbor Freights 10" Pneumatic Tires.
Other size Harbor Freight wheels may work but are untested at this time.
Drive Axles are machined from 6061 Aluminum.
Installation....
1) Purchasing a set of Harbor Freight 10" pneumatic wheels.
2) Use a hammer and blunt tool to tap the bearings out of the hub.
3) Install the custom axle in the hub using set screws or possibly bond them in with epoxy.
(See our installation video below)
NOTE: Interior of Harbor Freight hubs may need to sanded and or filed to fit.
Typically they will slide right in but we have seen questionable quality from Harbor Freight.

OPTION #1 (1/4" motor shafts)
- These axles are machined for 1/4" [6mm] motor shafts.
- The Harbor Freight bearings from the wheel hub will fit on the drive axle for mounting to your custom RC droid or robot frame.
- Axles can be machined for other size motor shafts.

- These axles are machined for 1/2 inch gearbox shafts with 1/8 inch keyway.
- You will need to purchase 3/4 inch ID bearings depending upon your application.
- Axles can be machined for other size motor shafts and keyway sizes.
