By separating signal transmission and mechanical tension, optimal materials can be used for the first time. High-purity silver, the best electrical conductor, is used for signal transmission. But because of silver's mechanical limitations, its use is only possible through ingenious combination with high-performance plastics. Of course, the silver surface is passivated to prevent oxidation.
The core of the new pole terminal WBT-0710 Ag is also consistently constructed in one piece, so that all unnecessary transition resistances are eliminated. The signal conductor is embedded in a matrix of glass fiber and mineral-reinforced plastic and is also perfectly strain-relieved by an anti-magnetic stainless steel brace. An additional damping ring made of elastomer keeps vibrations away from the contact level and thus successfully suppresses any contact microphony.
Due to the principle, this structure is electrically insulating. Brass design elements give the WBT-0710 nextgen ™ an appealing appearance and feel without compromising touch safety. It fulfills all current standards and safety regulations.

installation
Built-in insulation is included in the scope of delivery, which, in addition to insulated installation, also ensures twist-proof installation and pole identification. Also includes locknuts, double step washers with lugs and jigsaw washers. These puzzle discs can be clipped together. This results in precise terminal spacing of 19 or 30 mm, but above all absolute protection against twisting. In the case of devices subject to strong structure-borne noise, e.g. B. speakers, an additional nut lock z. B. done by the WBT serrated lock washer WBT-9150.
