75 Ohm characteristic impedance means that these sockets not only transmit excellent analogue, but also ideally digital audio and video signals. The transmission bandwidth is 1 GHz.

The contact parts of this socket are made of high-purity silver, the best electrical conductor to ensure optimal signal transmission. The metal is platinum-plated or passivated so that the surface does not oxidize and impair the contact quality.

The internal contact is designed as an active spring contact. The newly developed three-segment tulip contact is pressed onto the center pin of the RCA plug by a double-enclosing bronze spring ring. This ensures reliable contact not only when using non-standard RCA plugs but also with multiple mating cycles.

The external contact is shaped as a double shaft that encloses the socket body made of solid Ultramid*. This waveform guarantees reliable contact with every RCA plug. In addition, it is thanks to the reduction of the conductor material to the absolute minimum that no eddy currents arise and the WBT-0210 transmits signals completely without distortion.

Eddy currents arise in metal parts near which alternating current flows. They can lead to significant distortion of the signal.

Installation insulation is included, which, in addition to being insulated, also ensures rotation-proof installation and pole identification. This also includes locknuts and double step washers with noses.
