As an EX SE5A owner and Managing director at SPAX, I wanted to offer we have some special edition dampers.  Coated in Royal blue as a nod towards the Scimitars royal following.

These are new and not graded parts.   These are not standard fixed spring seat dampers,  but adjustable ride height and Adjustable damping dampers with matching high quality Springs 

We are offering a Spring and Damper “coil over assembly” at factory direct pricing.  No need to battle with spring compressors as we will pre-fit the spring on the damper for you.  .   This SPAX direct only deal will only be available for a shot time and is not available else ware and only exists due to my past Scimitar connection.   

As some of you may know, Spax has manufactured adjustable dampers for over 60 years. We are an Original equipment supplier to the likes of Morgan Motor cars. Over the years we have made massive leaps forward in quality and performance.

These dampers have 304 Stainless steel ride height threads on their bodies. (They don’t corrode like the competitors plated steel or aluminium threads).

Main bodies are triple coated.  Phosphate, base coat and top powdered coated. (looks good and very durable.)

Fully synthetic damper oil. (improved fade resistance)

Dampers gas pressurised reducing cavitation, and increased the damper sensitivity.   (Improve safety/ stopping distances/ performance)  

Come with integral dust shields and bumpstops.

The springs are European silicon chrome steel and not cheese.

All dampers have modern tethlon banded pistons and shaft guides (low friction and very constant sealing). This is much better in every respect to tethlon wrapping/belting (A strip with a gap between ends) or steel piston rings as most of the Spax clones use.
