PLEASE DO NOT BE TEMEPTED TO TAKE DELIVERY TOO EARLY! Ideally order approx. 2 weeks before the venue date or pre-order adding date in notes for despatch. There is a short usage time with this product, please read description as below.

Our gorgeous rustic log slices listed are cut approx. 3" thick to give a nice deep look with lots of bark. Sawn from fresh English larch timber supplied from sustainable woodlands and managed forests. Sanded to give a nice smooth feel then finished with a personal celebration message burnt into the wood up to 40 characters long.   I don't use stencils or prints and only burn into the wood by free hand! Please allow approx. 4" from the edge of the log for the text to give your cake plenty of room.

sizes are approximate as not all trees are completely round; thickness is cut as near to size as possible. We aim to supply you with the perfect log but due to its nature there might be slight imperfections. Various dimensions are available but if you can't see what you require, please ask as we can cut to thickness and size.

Rustic log stands are also supplied without being sanded, these are also a very popular choice and are as near to nature as you'll get! Please look at our other listings.

Oiling the log with food friendly oil is also an option to help nourish the wood but please note that the log is still green and fresh which means it will move slightly due to its natural drying out process especially when kept in a warm environment, this adds to its character and looks.  There is no guarantee that the log won't eventually split but re-applying oil can help to prolong. Butchers block or Danish oil is ideal as both food friendly.

Best to order as near to venue date as possible. (2-3 weeks is ideal) If ordering in advance please add the venue date. Unwrap as soon as possible when it arrives and follow instructions.

Collections can be made. We also try our best to help with urgent dispatches. Please feel free to ask.

When ordering please leave a note with the text you'd like me to write.

Many thanks
