Leica M-A (type 127)

Absolutely stunning Leica M-A (type 127) which pains me to sell but it's sat here doing nothing so needs a new home.

I bought it with ambitions to plough back in to film photography to recapture those magic moments of yesteryear. But it didn't materialise. I managed to put one and a half films through it - really. Since then it's been kept in a humidity-controlled cabinet and only brought out once a month to fire off a few dummy shots to keep the internals free and moving.

The camera is in perfect, as-new condition and is simply beautiful. The original Tri-X is still in the Leica box, but well out of date so I'll include a new one too. The out-of-date one is probably still very usable so it might be worth using it to play around with before going to a new roll. Also included is a roll of in-date Fuji Pro 400H which is my favourite colour film.

As well as this you'll get a lovely leather half-case to protect the camera, which comes with its own strap (the Leica strap is still in the box and has never been used).

Leicameter MC

Ok, I'm making NO GUARANTEES THIS IS WORKING PROPERLY!!! It appears to be. I bought this on a whim on getting the M-A, but on the few pictures I took I never actually used the meter, I went with the sunny 16 rule. But I've checked it with my M10 and it seems to be exposing correctly and the needle is moving up and down freely. This is a very, very old bit of kit so I'd advise exposing with this and a seperate, modern meter too, initially, before relying on it. It may be defective and fit only for the bin - as such this is offered with the M-A as a free extra which may or may not be working correctly.

Any questions please get in touch. Viewing and inspections welcome.

Thanks for looking.
