Fabulous vintage 1960s dress of French origin.
Excellent vintage condition. Abstract floral pattern. Fully lined. Peter Pan collar. Front button fastening (all original matching fabric buttons). The fabric feels like Triacetate (a medium weight fabric with a slight sheen) but in the absence of labels, I can't be sure. What I can say is that the dress is freshly laundered and washes brilliantly.
From the following measurements (taken when the dress was laid flat), I would say that size-wise it would best fit a present day UK 12:
Underarm to underarm: 19 and a 1/4 inches
Across the waist: 16 and a half inches
Across the hips: 20 and a 1/2 inches
Length: 38 and a 1/2 inches
