Wide full-grain leather belt with large, heavy, solid brass centre bar buckle.

The buckle is approximately 120gram of pure solid brass hence the higher price for these belts. They look and feel awesome!

PLEASE NOTE YOUR BELT SIZE IS ALWAYS LARGER THAN YOUR PANTS SIZE, TAKE CARE WHEN ORDERING CORRECT SIZE.

Please also note that CENTRE BAR BUCKLES add less length to a belt . Overall they will be one inch less in length compared to a belt fitted with a heel bar buckle. This is the equivalent of 1 adjustment hole. Round up a size if you are between sizes. If in doubt about size please message me for assistance.

(A rough estimate for belt size is generally 2 inches bigger than your pant size for most belts and even 3 inches bigger than your pant size for belts fitted with centre bar buckles.) I size these belts when you order so if you want an in-between size eg 35" just let me know. Measuring according to my instructions is more accurate.

Leather - quality 8-9 oz full-grain Italian leather (approx. 3.5mm or 1/8 inch thick)

Width - 2 inch (50mm) great with jeans, khakis, and tradie/cargo shorts. Check your belt loops with a strip of 2"/50mm cardboard

Buckle – awesome, super heavy centre bar buckle 120g of solid brass
Fasteners - line 24 snaps to enable buckle removal / fitment of other buckles.

Edges - beveled, hand burnished, dyes and waxed for a smooth finish

Holes - 5 oval shaped (can do 7 if preferred)

Colours - Tan, Cognac, Chestnut, Brown, Black

Extended billet (50mm/ 2 inches extra for additional holes if required)

The highest quality leather belts are made of full grain leather which last much longer and look better with age. Lesser quality belts are made out of cheaper (in grade order) top grain, split and even bonded leather. These tend to last for about 2 years down to 6 months, deteriorate in appearance over time and are usually cheap to buy.

Full grain leather comes from the top layer of the hide. The skin or surface of the animal remains intact with the leather exhibiting all its natural marks and features. Full grain leather provides maximum strength and durability due to the tightness of its grain while retaining its breathability. It develops an aesthetically appealing patina over time.

Apart from the type of leather chosen most quality casual belts are made of medium weighted leather 8-9oz. This is approximately 3-3.5mm (1/8 inch) in thickness. Cheaper belt can be down to 1.5mm in thickness and usually tear around the buckle and holes or come apart where they have been glued together.

These belts are hand made by me with Full Grain 8-9 oz weighted leather which is 3.0-3.5mm (1/8 inch) thick. Please also note it is 50mm (2 inch) in width as opposed to the standard 38mm (1.5 inch) jeans belt. They are made with heavy duty snaps for interchanging buckles. The high quality, solid brass buckles are available in 2 finishes. Send a request if you want a different buckle finish with your belt strap. Size 30" to 34" are $5.00 less as they are cut from small hides 36" - 42" medium hides and 44" + are $5.00 more as they are cut from larger more expensive hides.

The belt in the picture is size 36 in length which means it is 36 inches from the fold in the leather where it attached to the buckle to the centre hole (middle out of five) at the billet end of the belt.

Before ordering please check your size. Take a belt you already own and measure from the fold in the leather where the buckle attaches to the hole that you currently use. This measurement will be used to size your new belt.
